Following its incorporation in 1965, MAC produced its first machine; an SLI cast-on-strap. This was quickly followed by pasting and plate flash drying equipment for both automotive and industrial battery production. An automotive plate parter was then introduced to the industry. These beginning were the start of MAC’s journey to becoming a world renowned equipment manufacturer for the lead acid battery industry.
Located in the U.S.A.'s “tool box” region, the company's work force is highly skilled and efficient; an ideal combination for manufacturing quality equipment. The quality and performance of MAC's pasters and flash drying ovens have made this equipment one of the world's most popular choices. MAC battery-making machines are currently being used in over 50 countries.
MAC is continually looking to the future to develop new products. Over the years,
MAC has introduced numerous new machines including platemaking equipment, curing
equipment, panel parters, Cast On Strap (C.O.S.) machines for both automotive and
industrial batteries, acid fillers, heat sealers, short testers, leak testers, and
continuous expanded metal plate production under the names COMAC and MAC A.C.P.
In 2005, MAC formed a partnership with Eagle Oxide Systems, allowing the ability to now offer all sizes of Linklater, Eagle Barton oxide, red lead furnaces, ball mill systems and components.
In 2010 we celebrated MAC’s 45th Anniversary. We would like to thank all of the battery companies throughout the world that have helped MAC be as successful as they are today. With your help, MAC Engineering will continue to develop new and innovative equipment for the battery industry for years to come.
We are dedicated to making the best batteries... yours!
